We may amend this Privacy Notice from time to time. If we make changes, we will revise the date at the top of the notice and, depending on the specific amendments, we may provide you with additional notice. We encourage you to review the Privacy Notice whenever you access our Services to stay informed about our information practices and the ways you can help protect your privacy.
Why Customer Privacy matters to CreakyHat
The customers right to privacy is of great importance to CreakyHat. Creakyhat recognises that when a customer chooses to provide CreakyHat with personal information and data, the customer places confidence in our ability to handle customer privacy in a responsible manner.
Collection of personal data
Your personal data is currently not collected by our applications or website unless you use the contact functions.
Use of personal data
We may use information about you for the following:
Respond to your comments, questions and requests and provide customer service and support;
Our Services may offer social sharing features and other integrated tools (such as the Facebook "Like button"), which let you share actions you take on our Services with other media, and vice versa. The use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the entity that provides the social sharing feature. For more information about the purpose and scope of data collection and processing relating to social sharing features, please visit the privacy policies of the entities that provide these features.
On our website, we may allow third parties to serve advertisements. These entities may use cookies, web beacons and other tracing technologies to collect information about your use of our website, including your IP address, MAC address, device identifiers, software and hardware information, browser information, time zone and usage information. This information may be used by third parties to, among other things, analyse and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, deliver advertising and content targeted to your interests and better understand your activity on our website. Third-party analytics technologies (Google Analytics) are integrated into our website, so if you do not want to be subject to these technologies, do not use or access our website. Our website may also integrate third party Application Program Interfaces (APIs), which allow others to collect and process information about you, including your geolocation information, to provide you with tailored advertisements, offers and other content.
You have the ability to control the collection and use of your geolocation information at all times. You may disable location based services at any time by adjusting the settings of your mobile device.
These advertising and analytics technologies are part of our website only. Side Calendar contains no advertising or analytics.
Side Calendar and Google user data
Side Calendar lets you connect your Google account so you can see and manage your Google Calendar events alongside your other calendars. This section explains what Side Calendar accesses in your Google account, why, and what happens to it.
What Side Calendar accesses and why
When you add a Google account, Side Calendar asks Google for the following permissions:
Side Calendar only uses this access to provide the calendar features you see in the app. It does not use your Google data for advertising, and it does not use it to develop, improve or train AI or machine learning models.
Your calendar data stays on your PC
Side Calendar connects directly from your PC to Google. Your events are held in the app while it runs so it can show them. Your account's email address is saved in the app's settings on your PC, and the sign-in token that lets Side Calendar stay connected is stored in Windows Credential Manager on your PC. Side Calendar's diagnostic log on your PC never records event contents or sign-in tokens.
Nothing is sent to Creakyhat or shared
CreakyHat has no servers that receive your Google data. Your Google account information and calendar data are never sent to CreakyHat, and are never sold, transferred or shared with anyone else. Side Calendar contains no analytics or advertising that could receive this data.
How your Google data is protected
Disconnecting and deleting your data
To disconnect, remove the account in Side Calendar's settings. Side Calendar then deletes the sign-in token from your PC and asks Google to revoke its access. You can also remove Side Calendar's access at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/connections. Uninstalling Side Calendar removes its settings from your PC.
Limited Use
Side Calendar's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
